Wonderful Women’s Group—Vocational Stress In and Out of the Home

The Space Between TherapyUncategorized, Wonderfulness Women’s GroupsNovember 10, 2022

This Saturday is our gathering time and space. Lots of talk about how vocational stress comes up with many talking about how it impacts our feelings of anxiety and depression secondary to interpersonal conflict (perceived harassment, shunning, confrontations, etc.) with coworkers and loved ones.

Even if you are not in the outside workforce, this often comes up in interior lives, creating feelings of being attacked, compared, or challenged in a conversation. Fear of failure secondary to success or promotion can cause conflicts and expectations. Depression and anxiety related to complaints of job dissatisfaction or the stress of employment responsibilities can play a huge part in our lives, spilling over in our personal lives. Let’s explore how.

    Testimonials

Nina is an incredible counselor. She is a true blessing in my life. She helped my husband and I through a very difficult time in our marriage. My husband and I appreciate everything she did to make our marriage better. I would highly recommend Nina and will use her again and again when life becomes too difficult to handle.

Thank you again for working with us on repairing and strengthening our marriage. We have done marriage counseling several times before without a whole lot of progress. I truly respect your skills and especially the fact that you have held us accountable and made sure we would follow through with the appointments and commitments.

Just wanted to thank you for all of your help. I walked into last night’s board meeting confident and without fear. When I walked out, they offered me a work car, a personal assistant, a $1,000 bonus, and a $5,000 raise! Not too bad for one night. The confidence and lack of fear was all due to your help. Thank you again, I feel like a new man.

I have been able to make peace with my chronic pain coming to Chronic Pain Wellbeing Group. It has helped me be a person, not just a patient.

Coming to Chronic Pain Wellbeing Group has helped me realize the stigma of chronic pain does not prevent me from having a full and independent life.
